RAL provides measurement and statistical consulting services to all members of the University of Mississippi. The consulting services are free of charge and cover a range of topics such as term papers, statistical related coursework, thesis/dissertations, and journal articles among others.

“All the consultants are fourth or fifth year Ph.D. students from across campus and I’m the only one from the SOE,” said Kelly. “I applied to work with this group after I finished taking eight statistics courses from across campus.”

Kelly notes that students and faculty can make appointments with the consultants to discuss a variety of statistical analyses and quantitative projects.

“The department of [higher] education is extremely fortunate to have someone as talented and dedicated to scholarly excellence as Savannah Kelly in our Ph.D. program,” said Neal Hutchens, chair and professor of higher education. “In her role as Research and Instruction Librarian and Associate Professor in the J.D. Williams Library, she also is an invaluable connection for students and faculty in the School of Education.”

“I’m very excited to serve as a consultant and to talk with others about statistics,” said Kelly.
