Higher Education Ed.D. student Rachael Durham was named Assistant Director for First-Year Experience in the UM Center for Student Success on Jan. 2, 2019.

“I am thrilled for the opportunity to work in this new role,” she said. “The First-Year Experience unit has had such great leadership and direction, and although I know there are some big shoes to fill, I am more than excited to continue to serve and better our students during their first year on campus.”

The First-Year Experience unit within the Center for Student Success & First-Year Experience oversees all aspects related to EDHE 105: The First-Year Experience course & EDHE 305: The Transfer Experience Course, plans Fall Convocation, helps with the Common Reading committee, oversees the Ole Miss Opportunity Scholars Program, and much more related to First-Year students!
